Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida - Men's Services

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida provides social services for homeless men. They offer The Pavilion; it is the only emergency drop-in shelter in Central Florida. Men who stay there are given a warm meal, showers, and a place to sleep for the night. The Pavilion is also home to First Steps Shelter Recovery Program. It is a substance abuse program. For those who complete the First Steps program, they may be able into enter the First Steps Transitional Housing Program. Call for more information.

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida - The Center for Women & Families

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida provides The Center for Women & Families. They provide a range of social services to homeless families. The center is made up of three distinct sections; a single women’s dorm, family dorm, and individual family rooms. They also offer the First Steps Shelter Recovery Program for Women. Community Hope Center

The Community Hope Center is a program-based project that impacts the low-income, poverty level families and individuals living in and around Osceola County, Florida. The primary emphasis is to assist those living homeless or in motels and hotels along Osceola County’s 192 Corridor.

Crime Victim Services

Crime can happen to anyone.

The VSC offers comprehensive services to individuals or families impacted by violent crime (Stalking, Human Traffiking, Homicide, Kidnapping / False Imprisonment, Assault and Battery, DUI, Home Invasion, Hit and Run, Robbery, Sex Crimes, Violent Crimes, and Elder Abuse).

Our Victim Advocates provide: ongoing personal support; practical help, as needed; information and referrals; ongoing, repetitive crisis intervention; arrangement of services to enhance recovery (health, financial, housing); information/assistance in preparing for court and navigating the criminal justice system; information on victim rights; active monitoring of case through the legal system; assistance with injunctions for protection, advocacy on the behalf of the victim with employers, schools, landlords; information and/or assistance with Crime Victim Compensation applications; and ongoing case management to ensure continuity of services.

Department of Corrections - Victim Services (VINE)

This program helps victims of crimes committed by Florida inmates. Through the VINE program, victims can sign up for an automatic notification service. Anyone may call the toll-free number to get an inmate's current location and release date. You may also register to learn when an inmate is released, transferred, escapes or dies.
