Those who qualify receive a free phone with free monthly minutes.

The staff at Metropolitan Ministries will evaluate your needs and decide how to best connect you to the appropriate community resources. MMIP is prepared to give emergency food and clothing to persons in distress. Open to all.

Faith United Methodist Church - Food Pantry
This is a very limited food pantry. They can only serve households who qualify for Food Stamps and that are in the zip codes 34669 or 34654 areas only. Help is limited to one time per calendar month. Bring proof of address and food stamp eligibility. Open only on Thursday's, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m

Family Assistance Program - Operation First Response
This agency helps those who have been wounded while in the military.
Services:
Rent, utilities, groceries and vehicle assistance.
Help with travel expenses to and from medical facilities.
OFR is always in need of donations and volunteers.

This is a tuition-free state public school, they serve youth from grades Pre-K to 12 who are deaf/hard of hearing, blind /visually impaired, or deafblind. They offer athletic programs as well as after-school activities and clubs.

This agency provides food and offers a thrift shop for clothing and household items.
