Child Life Services-Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital

The goal of this program is to reduce the stress a child has during a hospital stay. Specially trained Child Life Specialists work to help the child learn coping skills. They use play therapy to help the child understand and cope with their upcoming medical procedures. They assist the siblings of a child who has died and help them to understand and say good-bye. The team also works with families and help parents to cope with the challenges of parenting a sick child.

Children's Home - Community Counseling Services

This agency provides outpatient family therapy to families having stressful times. They serve children ages 6 to 18 and their families. Family counseling is provided in the office or in-home. They treat children for aggression, depression, school difficulties and more. Their goal is to help children be the best they can be.

CINS/FINS -YFA - East Pasco

Services are provided to families on a voluntary basis, except in the case of truancy referrals by the local school system. Services include but are not limited to assessment, individual, family, and group counseling, case management and referrals. Youth and families are eligible for Family Help program services if a child is threatening to run away or has run away, is beyond parental control, or is truant from school or at risk for these behaviors.
