The Administration for Community Living or ACL for short. The group believes that services should be strong enough so individuals can be supported in their own home. Or other community-based settings. The group does not help people directly but has several programs to help connect them with services that do. These programs help older adults and people with disabilities. Helps them find supports and services that are needed to successfully live in their communities. Lutheran Services Florida - Adult Advocacy Services

Lutheran Services Florida provides services for elderly and disabled adults. LSF Guardianship Services helps protect them from abuse and neglect. Guardians are appointed by the courts. They will act on behalf of those who cannot handle their own affairs. Currently, the LSP Guardianship Program services individuals age 18 and over.

This may be due to:

  • Alzheimer’s Disease, or other age-related dementia
  • Developmental Disabilities
  • Mental Illness
  • Physical Injuries

LSF Guardianship Services include:

  • 24-Hour On-Call Availability
  • Assessment
  • Coordinating and Monitoring of Clients’ Physical, Medical, Rehabilitative, Social and Emotional Needs
  • Ensuring Clients’ Safe Living Conditions
  • Management of Clients’ Income, Assets, Benefits and Financial Affairs
  • Overall Case Management
  • Protection from Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation
