This agency serves Floridians with developmental disabilities. APD works with local agencies to help families with special needs. There are other services available such as group homes. Our Navigators provide any consumer with the application and enrollment or re-enrollment, and assistance in selecting a qualified health plan to the Federally facilitated and State Partnership Marketplaces for health insurance. Navigators provide information and services in a fair, accurate, impartial and unbiased manner to consumers and help or refer to Medicaid/CHIP programs. Navigators conduct outreach, attend community events, and conduct public education activities to raise awareness about the Exchange.
