The AWARENESS Program for Women Assistance, formerly called "The Miami Rescue Mission and The Center for Women and Children," helps homeless women and children. They offer a place to stay overnight and a long-term recovery program. The group also has other services for single mothers who need help. To learn more, please call or visit their website.
The Dr. Frank and Maxine Jacbos Center for Men has a year-long program called the Regeneration Program for men who are dealing with different problems in their lives. They also provide emergency shelter for one night and housing for people who need a place to stay while they get back on their feet. You can get a meal, a shower, and a safe place to sleep.
