The Care to Share Program helps with utility payment. The maximum benefit is $350. You must be able to document loss of income. You must be screened for eligibility by one of the counselors. Call for more information.
Help is given to those that meet eligibility criteria. They will pay utilities or rent. The payment is given directly to the utility company or landlord. Please call in advance to make sure funding is available. Contact for more information.
The program assists with electric bills for heating and cooling. Not for deposits or to prevent cancelled service. This benefit is available once every 12 months. Call for more information.

Broward Outreach Center provides 200 beds to homeless men, women, and families. The program is designed to be an eight week, full-service homeless shelter, with an average stay of sixty days.
