Immigration - Detention Program
Americans for Immigrant Justice (AIJ) provides free legal help to detainees. AIJ helps them to obtain release and fight their deportation. They also monitor for abusive and inadequate detention facilities. All services are free. Please see the website for more information.

ELS offers English language programs and courses. The English for Speakers of Other Languages program is known as ESOL for short. This program is English classes for U.S. citizens and residents. Learn English - Hillsborough Literacy Council
This group offers a program to learn basic English. Volunteer tutors work with small groups of learners of any native language. The tutors help students reach fluency in ordinary English communication. Students must be 18 years of age or older. They must also live in Hillsborough County.
