Tri-County Human Services, Inc. is a private not-for-profit organization. They provide substance abuse, and co-occurring and mental health disorders treatment. Their services are given to residents of Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties. The services provided by Tri-County are covered by many health insurance plans. When health insurance coverage is not available, an affordable payment plan is worked out with each client.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast provides one-to-one mentoring relationships. These are for children ages 6-18 years old. The goal for children in the program is for them to achieve measurable outcomes. Such as educational success.
