WIC - Leon County

Leon County Health Department provides the WIC Program. It is a federally funded program. It serves infants, children up to 5 years old, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and women in the first 5 months after giving birth. Call for more information.

Dental Clinic - Leon County Health Department

The county health department runs the Dr. Edward F. Zapert Dental Clinic. It is also known as The Molar Express. The train themed facility provides dental services in a child friendly atmosphere. Services are available for Medicaid-eligible Florida residents. The care is from birth to age 20. All patients 17 and under must be supervised by a guardian at all times. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. It is closed on holidays.
