Victim Services (VINE) - Department of Corrections

This program helps victims of crimes committed by Florida inmates. Through the VINE program, victims can sign up for an automatic notification service. Anyone may call the toll-free number to get an inmate's current location and release date. You may also register to learn when an inmate is released, transferred, escapes or dies. Boys Town North Florida

Boys Town helps children who need a safe place to stay. They work to reunite families and keep them together. When this is not possible, Boys Town finds foster homes or provides a home at one of their family residences in Tallahassee. The Gloria M. Silverio Foundation

This agency provides a safety net for women with unexpected pregnancies. The goal is to make sure that no baby is abandoned. Mothers with newborns can get advice about adoption or parenting and make plans for their baby's future before they reach a crisis stage. They can get help as they decide what is best for themselves and their babies. Please see the website for more information.
