Keys Area Interdenominational Resources - Food

KAIR is a USDA certified food pantry. They offer “Meals to Go” – pre-made meals for the homeless. They offer bags of groceries to those who have cooking facilities. They also offer food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmastime. The pantry is open five days a week during office hours or by appointment. Call for more information.

Domestic Abuse Shelter of The Florida Keys provides services for individuals and families experiencing domestic and sexual abuse. They offer a range of programs and services. All services are free and confidential.

Samuel’s House provides housing for homeless men, women, and families.

Programs:

  • Casa de Meredith provides structured affordable permanent efficiency and two bedroom apartment units to women, men and their families
  • Kathy’s Hope provides structured nurturing independent housing for recovering women and women with children
  • The Mary Spottswood Women’s Center provides emergency shelter for women and women with children for up to 90 days
