North Central Florida Alcoholics Anonymous - Dixie and Gilchrist

AA is an international fellowship of people who have have, or had a problem with alcohol. There are no age restrictions. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem. Please call to confirm where the meetings are and what time they start. Dixie County meetings:

Saturday - 7:30pm - Old Town United Methodist Church, CR 349, Old Town

Gilchrist County meetings:

AMI Kids

Safe and affordable legal help with immigration. It is family based and the services you get will be made to fit your needs.
We help kids develop confidence and competency in vital life skills and educational areas.
The Programs we offer are:

  • Family Services- home based family counseling and intervention
  • Infinity Schools - alternative school for those unable to perform in public school
  • Residential
  • WINGS -cares for the special needs of delinquent, pregnant young women

Haven Hospice

This hospice provides services for patients needing end-of-life care. They do not turn anyone away. They address the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the patient and family. Care is provided wherever the patient calls home. If the patient can no longer remain in his own home, care can be given in one of Haven's Care Center. There are services for children and teens as well.

WIC - Dixie County

WIC is available to low to moderate income women who are pregnant, recently had a baby or are breastfeeding. It’s also available for infants and children up to age 5 who may be at nutritional risk. Fathers can also apply for WIC. Please call for more information.
