The agency has a task force that is headquartered in the Tampa Bay area. This task force focuses on education, rescue, and enforcement. And they also support survivors. The agency is part of the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood Program. Their top priority is the protection of children. The protection against crimes of exploitation and abuse. They aggressively investigate, enforce, and prosecute crimes of this kind. Work is done to raise the public’s awareness of online sexual predators. They provide tools and information to educators.
