Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) - Central Region

APD supports persons with developmental disabilities. Their goal is to help them live, learn and work in their communities. APD provides services to help clients find jobs, funding and supported living services. Please see the website for more information.

MADD

MADD offers support to those who have been affected by another person's drunk driving. They advocate for victims' rights and compensation. They fight for stricter underage drinking laws. They sponsor Walk Like MADD walks to raise funds. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Florida WIC Program

This program is called WIC for short. It is for pregnant women and children up to five years old. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support and referrals for health care. Each eligible family gets an EBT card to use at the grocery store. They also get a list of foods to purchase at the lowest prices.
