Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida - The Center for Women & Families

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida provides The Center for Women & Families. They provide a range of social services to homeless families. The center is made up of three distinct sections; a single women’s dorm, family dorm, and individual family rooms. They also offer the First Steps Shelter Recovery Program for Women. Orlando Union Rescue Mission - Emergency Shelter

Orlando Union Rescue Mission provides Emergency Shelter. Men living on the street in need of safe shelter are welcomed to the Mission’s Emergency program for seven free nights. After this time a $6 dormitory fee is requested. Call for more information.

    Help Now of Osceola, Inc. provides Adult Outreach Services. They do not encourage the victim to stay or leave their partner. They do offer information with regards to a victim’s rights and support whatever decision they make. They offer emotional and psychological support. They offer counseling in both group and individual settings. They also provide information and referral to other groups and agencies within the area.

    Help Now of Osceola, Inc. provides temporary safe shelter for victims of domestic violence facing imminent danger. The location of the shelter is confidential. Visitors, residents, and staff must sign and upload a confidentiality statement. This will prevent them from telling the location of the shelter. Help Now will neither confirm nor deny whether any person is staying at the shelter. Children may stay with residents.
