HOPWA stands for The Housing Opportunity for Persons with HIV/AIDS. It helps clients in need of housing assistance. They can help find new housing or to stay in current housing. Need for this service is high, so it can take some time to get help. Please call or go to the website to learn more.

Health Care Center for the Homeless

This agency reaches out to homeless living in camps (HOPE Team). It also provides health services to uninsured people in Orange County.

The Hope Team:

  • Brings food and water to the camps to address basic needs and build trust
  • Help with referrals to behavioral health and substance abuse treatment programs
  • Helps the homeless get ID cards, birth certificates, and housing
  • Provides transportation to the clinic for homeless living in the woods
  • Takes information on medical, dental, and behavioral health services available through the Health Care Center for the Homeless
