Habitat for Humanity Washington County is a locally run affiliate of Habit for Humanity International. They are a non-profit group. Work is done in partnership with people in need to build and renovate housing. Housing that is decent and affordable. Volunteers provide most of the labor. Donations from individuals and corporations provide money and materials. Houses are sold to those in need at no profit. And with no interest charged. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support and referrals for health care.
