Paratransit Service-PCPT- Pasco

Pasco County Paratransit (PCPT) gives rides to older adults, people with disabilities, and people with low income. You must sign up ahead of time. They also have a service for people who ride often.

Transit Service - Pasco County Public Transportation

This agency provides public bus service in Pasco County. Bus passes can be obtained at a discount. Children under 4 years of age can ride for free. The buses also have bike racks for those who would like to take their bikes with them.

If you use a commute option to work at least two days per week, you qualify for the Emergency Ride Home program. This program provides up to four free taxi rides home each year in case of personal illness, family emergency or unexpected overtime. There are also paratransit services for those who cannot use the regular bus.

Pasco County Public Transportation

PCPT provides public transportation services in Pasco County. They have para-transit services for those who cannot use the regular bus. Reduced fares are available to students, persons over 65 and those with disabilities. Medicare card holders and VA Healthcare card holders may also get a reduced rate.

This program helps with housing needs. They offer a home ownership program for low and moderate income individuals with disabilities. They help those individuals with the purchase and post purchase support of a home. They provide housing assistance (both rental and ownership) for persons with disabilities. They can help with home renovations and making them more accessible for wheelchairs.

Lifeline is an easy-to-use personal response service device. It ensures that older adults and disabled persons living at home get quick help whenever it is needed. If you have a fall or medical emergency, you can get help quickly with the push of a button.

If you are on medicaton, you can also get their Medication Dispensing Service. It is a pill dispenser that emits a sound when it’s time for your medication.
