Inpatient Services -Operation PAR

Inpatient Services , located at the Shirley D. Coletti Academy for Behavioral Change, provides up to six months of intensive residential treatment for substance-dependent adolescents with the average length of stay being four months. the program targets youth between 12-17 years old who are experiencing problems related to the use of alcohol or other drugs. The program utilizes a family-centered approach in a supportive therapeutic community. Services are designed to facilitate a substance abusing adolescent's recovery and to educate and equip family members with the life skills necessary to prevent further substance abuse. a variety of individual, group and family counseling services are offered in a progressive five-phase model. a core of supportive activities including education, recreation, life skill classes, vocational training complements basic services.

Independent Living-Camelot Community Care

Camelot coordinates Independent Living Services to older teens in the child welfare system. Services include life skills training, education coordination and support services. They also have job coaching and financial skills training. The goal of this program is to prepare teens in foster care for adulthood and self sufficiency.

They also assist young adults who have already aged out of the foster care system.

This agency has behavioral services for at-risk children. The safety of children is the highest importance. They have foster care and child welfare programs. They have an adoption program. They do counseling and case management.

Brookwood Florida

This is a group home for troubled teen girls in need of counseling and education.
Services include therapy,employment preparation, and independent living skills training.
Young homeless women may stay here, also.

Community Education-Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital

This hospital has educational programs to the general public. There are topics on child health, safety and child advocacy. Other topics include parenting skills, child development, self-esteem, SAFE KIDS, CPR and quitting smoking. Topics for youth include weight loss for children and teen baby sitting training. Classes take place at various locations.
