Children & Teens Programs - Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA

The YMCA provides afterschool programs for children in grades K-5. They are located at several county schools. They provide a safe place for your child. They provide a broad range of activities which include help with homework, arts and crafts, snacks, sports and more. There is a fee, but there is financial aid to families in need.

Positive Spin, Inc.

This group is a community-based social service agency. It is a nonprofit. They help children and families. There is a variety of assistance available. This help is to help clients live healthy, stable, and productive lives.

Tampa HIllsborough Homeless Initiative

This group is called THHI for short. They do not provide services or public assistance to individuals directly. This group leads the Tampa/Hillsborough County Continuum of Care. They work with other agencies to develop and provide innovative solutions. This work is done to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. Please call or visit the website for more information.
