Wellness Center - Tampa Jewish Family Services

TJFS provides counseling services to people of all ages. Counseling is provided in a confidential and supportive setting. TJFS can provide services on a sliding scale based on total income.

Financial Assistance - Tampa Jewish Family Services

This program offers interest-free loans for up to 18 months. They can be from $500 to $2,000 for needy families.

Loans can be for a variety of financial needs. This includes emergency expenses such as food or shelter. They could be for medical bills, rent or mortgage, funerals, tuition, auto repairs, and other such important expenses.

Applicants must be affliated with the Jewish community to apply. For more information, go here.

Community Food Back - Tampa Jewish Family Services

This food bank has locations in Citrus Park and Brandon. Food distribution is once each month in both places. Clients can get emergency food weekdays by appointment at each location.
Pick-up for all food must be arranged in advance by calling 813.960.1848. TJFS never turns anyone away.

Tampa Jewish Family Services

This group is called TJFS for short. It provides counseling, community service programs and help to those in need. Their aim is to strengthen individuals and families of all faiths in the Tampa area. Services include a food bank, counseling, financial aid and Senior services.

Support Services - Center for Autism and Related Disabilities

CARD helps by sharing lists of resources. This list is personalized to the client’s area and insurance. Consultations can be done over the phone, over email, or video chat. They can also meet in the community or in your home. This group works with people of all ages. All services provided are short term. Housing - ACTS

This is a long term residential treatment program. It is for those with alcohol, mental health, or drug issues. Residents attend group therapy, educational programs, AA meetings, and recreational activities. Later in the program, residents receive job counseling and help with getting employment and safe housing. The length of stay depends on the program.
