The VetSuccess program helps Veterans to find jobs. It is sometimes referred to as the Chapter 31 program. This program helps Veterans with service connected disabilities to prepare for, find, and keep suitable jobs. Some Veterans have disabilities so severe that they cannot immediately get a job. In this case, they receive services so they can live as independently as possible. In order to qualify, the Veteran must have had an honorable discharge.
Services Include:
- Assistance finding and keeping a job
- Comprehensive rehabilitation evaluation
- Independent living services for Veterans
- Job-training, job-seeking skills, resume development, and other work readiness assistance
- On the Job Training (OJT), apprenticeships, and non-paid work experiences
- Post-secondary training at a college, vocational, technical or business school
