Beaches Energy Service (BES) partners with BEAM so that BEAM can help qualified BES customers who need assistance with their BES bill. BEAM administers all the funds available through BES’s “CARE” program. No appointment is needed for this service. BEAM's trained volunteers offer free income tax preparation to families during tax season. Appointments are needed. BEAM also has a food pantry. Families are asked to make appointments for food pick-up. They may come once every 30 days if they need food. BEAM also has financial help for rent and utilities for qualified residents. This service is available every 18 months, and an appointment is required. Thanksgiving dinner baskets help families who sign up for food to prepare a bountiful Thanksgiving dinner.

The certified counselors will help you assess your financial health, set personal goals and develop a plan to achieve these goals. UWNF provides parent education workshops that are simple, fun and interactive. All parents may attend. This includes those who have been court ordered to attend a parenting class.
