Braille and Talking Books Library-Florida Division of Blind Services

Braille and Talking Books Library is a free service. They offer reading materials in Braille and recorded audio. It is for those who are visually impared. The equipment used for the service is loaned out to customers. This includes digital players and headphones. The books on audio are also sent out to the customer at no charge. Take Stock in Children-Charlotte Local Education Foundation

Take Stock in Children is administered by the Charlotte Local Education Foundation. The program is for low-income students in middle school. It provides scholarships and mentoring to young students.
