This office serves as an advocate for crime victims and victims' rights. It has a compensation program for innocent victims of crime. They also notify victims of the status of any court decisions regarding their case. Injured crime victims may be eligible for financial help for medical care. They may get help with lost income, funeral expenses and other costs related to the injury. They can also get referrals to resources in their area.
