OA provides groceries to those in need. Food items include beans, fruit, soup, vegetables, spaghetti, bread, margarine, and peanut butter. One visit may be made each month. A new referral is necessary for each visit. Please call 727.822.1187 for more information.
OA provides new and gently-used clothing, along with new underwear and socks, for children from newborn to high school age. One referral allows four visits over a year, so that children get clothing appropriate for each season. Please contact 727.822.1187 for more information.
OA is a ministry located in St. Petersburg's Southside. It is operated by Lakeview Presbyterian Church. Today, 15 churches support the efforts of OA. Girls Inc is an award-winning non-profit organization. Their mission is “to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.” Girls Inc serves over 400 girls every year through their after school and summer programs. The goal is to help them to develop the tools to build and plan their futures. Since 1961, Girls Inc girls have grown to be successful, community-minded and empowered young women.
