This ministry has a number of services for those in need. Their soup kitchen is open Monday through Saturday. There is a food pantry and help for utility bills. Men may stay at the emergency shelter for up to 30 days. Church services and Bible studies take place, also. Please see the website for more information.

Pinellas County Urban League

The Urban League is a historic civil rights organization. It is dedicated to raising the standard of living in underserved urban communities. They have programs for youth that help them realize their full potential and stay in school. They offer housing and utility services to homeowners. They have educational services. Night Shelter - St. Vincent de Paul

The Night Shelter is an “in at night/out by morning” shelter for homeless men and women. Staff begins admitting new clients at 8:45pm. Returning clients sign in at 9pm. Clients can sleep in the Shelter for up to 21 consecutive nights, after which they must make room for new arrivals. After 14 nights “out,” they have to be re-admitted if no permanent lodging found. Center of Hope Transitional Housing - St. Vincent de Paul

The Center of Hope is a program that provides housing for low-income and homeless people. The program is for those trying to attain self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Clients meet with a case manager who helps them create a personalized plan of action. The Center helps Veterans, the homeless and the working poor. They may stay for up to two years.
