The Salvation Army provides the Women's and Children's Shelter. It is a 62 bed facility for women and their children experience homelessness. This facility provides a warm and safe environment for women and children in need of emergency shelter. Check in begins at 4:30 PM daily and continues until the facility is full. Men living on the streets in need of safe shelter are welcomed to the Men's Shelter for seven free nights. After this time a $6 dormitory fee is requested. The 70-bed dormitory for emergency guests is occupied each night on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone not under the influence of a controlled substance. Each guest receives nutritious meals, clean clothing, hot showers, safe shelter and more.
In addition, the Mission hosts four Banquets a year and gives out hygiene, clothing and other items.

The Orlando Union Rescue Mission is a nonprofit group. It is a faith-based organization. They provide homeless services. That provide for the immediate physical needs of the homeless. Please call or visit the website for more information.
