This agency gives financial aid to low-income seniors who are about to lose power because they cannot pay their electric bill. It is for seniors 60 or over. Help is available twice a year.

Goodwill Industries - Suncoast provides services for people having difficulty getting a job due to a disability. They provide job coaching, on the job training, help in job searching and support. They follow up for up to 90 days to ensure job retention.
A.F.I.R.E. of Pasco County - Adult Day Training
This agency helps developmentally delayed clients past the age of 22. Their goal is to promote independence so they can function within the community. Clients learn basic academics and can get computer training. They learn skills by going out into the community in small groups. They may go to the mall, library, grocery store or nursing home for hands-on learning and volunteer opportunities. They meet five days a week to reinforce everyday living skills.

A.F.I.R.E. of Pasco County, Inc.
A.F.I.R.E. has a day training program for developmentally disabled adults. They are over the age of 22 and no longer eligible for the public school system. Clients meets five days a week to reinforce everyday living skills. The goal is to function more independently in their community. One-on-one computer training, other academics, social skills and enjoy fun activities with their peers.

Connections Job Development & Placement Program
Connections works with those who are seeking employment. They can help you with job search skills. They offer computer training and one-on-one job counseling. They can help with resume review and preparation, job leads, and interview clothing. All services are free and there is no charge to area employers who wish to post openings with them.

This is a national, primarily residential training program. It is for young people ages 16 through 24. Job Corps' mission is to attract eligible young adults and teach them the skills they need to become employable. Students get academic training to suit their needs. They can get their GED. They can learn English. They can take Driver’s Education. They can get vocational training in several fields.
