This agency helps to expand public understanding of eating disorders. Their aim is to promote access to quality treatment for those affected along with support for their families through education, advocacy and research. There are toolkits for parents and teachers. FSP’s purpose is to help with long-term disaster recovery efforts in Pasco County. It serves those in need. They work with other agencies to help with unmet needs. They try to cover what insurance and FEMA doesn’t and help people rebuild their lives as well as their houses.
Door-to-door service is provided to anyone unable to use the bus because of a disability or distance from a route. Persons who live within 3/4 mile of a route are required to use the regular bus. However, persons may apply for paratransit when they have a disability preventing them from transit use. Reservations must be made in advance.
Personal attendants ride free on paratransit trips.

This agency provides public bus service in Pasco County. Bus passes can be obtained at a discount. Children under 4 years of age can ride for free. The buses also have bike racks for those who would like to take their bikes with them.
If you use a commute option to work at least two days per week, you qualify for the Emergency Ride Home program. This program provides up to four free taxi rides home each year in case of personal illness, family emergency or unexpected overtime. Call 1.800.998.7433 for more information.

PCPT provides public transportation services in Pasco County. They have para-transit services for those who cannot use the regular bus. Reduced fares are available to students, persons over 65 and those with disabilities. Medicare card holders and VA Healthcare card holders may also get a reduced rate.

Bethany Family Apartments has housing for low income families. There are educational and training sessions for all. The goal is for residents to be self sufficient.
The Angelus consists of 5 group homes. They house severely handicapped persons who are not able to care for themselves. There is room for 40 residents. All residents have have physical challenges.
This program helps with housing needs. They offer a home ownership program for low and moderate income individuals with disabilities. They help those individuals with the purchase and post purchase support of a home. They provide housing assistance (both rental and ownership) for persons with disabilities. They can help with home renovations and making them more accessible for wheelchairs.

This agency has helped many of its clients through the Medical Equipment Recycling Program (MERP). Available equipment is 100% dependent upon what has been donated to the Center. They take donations such as wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, chair lifts, shower chairs, etc. They are then cleaned and matched up with someone who needs it.
