Neighborhood Home Solutions (NHS) is a not-for-profit organization. They give affordable housing and homeownership solutions. NHS is quick to respond to those in need of its services and advocacy. They believe home ownership is good for an individual or family, and for the entire community. If homes are left abandoned they become neighborhood eye sores. Abandoned homes may also attract crime. Consider NHS to be your first responder for all your housing and homeownership needs.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Florida Gulf Coast

This agency has counseling and monthly support groups for patients and their families. They provide medical equipment loans for patients with a doctor’s referral. They can grant limited financial assistance (medical equipment, counseling, etc.). They have self help groups. They have educational programs, information and referral services. Early Childhood Development - Easterseals Southwest Florida

"Make the First 5 Count!" The Early Childhood Development programs from Easterseals help children gain a strong foundation. They offer Lily Preschool for kids up to 5 years old. They also offer therapy. Early intervention helps babies and toddlers work toward growth goals. They are at a time in their lives when they are most ready to learn. They can most benefit from therapy during this time. Their therapies and other services are offered to children up to 18 years old.

Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) - Suncoast Region

APD supports persons with developmental disabilities. Their goal is to help them live, learn and work in their communities. APD provides services to help clients find jobs, funding and supported living services. Please see the website for more information.
