The Supported Employment program by VR helps those with disabilities to find and maintain a job. VR offers continuing help from an employment specialist to work with your strengths, abilities, and interests. The program is for both youth and adults. Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) is a program run by the Social Security Administration (SSA). It helps people who are 14-65 years old and receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits transition to work. It offers information about benefits and work incentives. It helps these individuals avoid problems including overpayments, loss of benefits, and financial hardship.
