Daily Needs ServicesThis agency delivers meals five days a week to homebound seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals. Two frozen weekend meals are provided on Friday. Free dog and cat food is also available for pet owners. It is delivered on the first Saturday of every month by Humane Society volunteers.
The cost of each meal is $4.75. Please call the office if you cannot afford to pay for meals.
Senior Resource Association provides the Meals on Wheels program. Volunteers deliver meals to clients’ homes Monday through Friday. They do this between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. They also give a daily safety check and friendly interaction. Hot, nutritious meals are delivered to seniors’ doors – five days a week. They also offer frozen meals for the weekends. If you are homebound and have been discharged from a healthcare facility within the last 30; or, whose caregiver is going into a healthcare facility for a brief period of time, they offer Emergency Meals on Wheels.
