Daily Needs ServicesThe Gonzalez Baptist Church operates a Food For Help Ministry. It is provided by Feeding the Gulf Coast. There is free food that is distributed every second Friday of each month. This ministry operates a food bank that is staffed by volunteers. Bible Study is held before distribution of the food. Clients are pre-qualified through both Abe Brown Ministries’ criteria and USDA Standards. Food is donated the last two Fridays of each month with special distributions for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Hope Center runs a food pantry. They help you make a pretend budget. You are helped with picking out food and staying in that budget. They will also answer questions as they help you. You can choose from many kinds of food. After, they help with "next steps." They can help you find a job, counseling, or planning your next visit.
