This group has the Life Learning Program. It is for men and women looking to recover from their addictions, destructive lifestyles, and homelessness. It is a residential program. The program can last from 7 to 24 months. Please call or visit the website for more information.
Program Includes:
This is an addiction recovery program at the McDuff Avenue campus. Clients live on campus for about 18 months. They must make a commitment to the program which will enable them to make a new life for themselves and for their families. Clients take part in a full range of education and recovery services. Each person is assessed and receives a program plan based on his or her own specific needs. Please call for more information.
Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen runs an emergency family shelter. They provide temporary shelter for families. The group provides one week of emergency shelter. There is room for up to ten families. Please call for more info.

This group runs the Louis Williams Village. It provides housing and supportive services. The services are for individuals with mental illness. The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps people pay their energy costs when they have an unpaid energy bill. The program works to help low-income families. For the first half of the month, LIHEAP gives priority to single mothers, those aged 60 or older, the disabled, and children under five years of age. All other clients are served the second half of the month. They can help every six months, once in the winter and once in the summer.
