Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida provides The Center for Women & Families. They provide a range of social services to homeless families. The center is made up of three distinct sections; a single women’s dorm, family dorm, and individual family rooms. They also offer the First Steps Shelter Recovery Program for Women. Cocoa Veterans Village - Volunteers of America

This group runs the Cocoa Veterans Village. It is a GPD program. The program provides transitional housing. It also provides supportive services. The help is for homeless veterans. The help will stabilize and prepare them for a life of independence. A veteran can stay in the program for up to six months. There are requirements that must be met to participate. Cold Night Shelter - Niceville & Valparaiso - Opportunity, Inc.

This program gives shelter on nights that have temperatures below 40 degrees.

The following services will be provided:
Gender specific area with mats and blankets
Supper 6pm - 8pm
Shower facility at some facilities
Referrals for clothes
Breakfast 6am - 7am
Dismissal 7am - 8am
The following places provide shelter between 6:00 pm and 7:00 am on nights when temperatures are forecast to be below 40 degrees overnight:
