Answers for Parents - Counseling and Treatment for Troubled Youth

Bridges of America - Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program

This program is for male adult felony drug offenders. It offers a 39-bed residential treatment center for those who are court ordered to participate in drug treatment. It lasts for six to eight months. It is peer-led and peer-driven. Clients are encouraged to be active participants in their recovery. Please call for more information.

Bridges of America - Transition Center

This Transition Re-Entry Center gives male inmates a chance to get their lives back on track. The program includes intensive substance abuse treatment and value added services. It is for men who have remaining sentences of six to twelve months. Each man takes an active role in his own recovery as he forges a new path in life. Please see the website for more information.

City Rescue Mission - LifeBuilders Addiction Recovery

This is an addiction recovery program at the McDuff Avenue campus. Clients live on campus for about 18 months. They must make a commitment to the program which will enable them to make a new life for themselves and for their families. Clients take part in a full range of education and recovery services. Each person is assessed and receives a program plan based on his or her own specific needs. Please call for more information.

Emergency Pregnancy Services

This agency offers help to pregnant women. All services are free to clients. Counselors provide a caring atmosphere where women can be educated about their choices. They can get adoption information or post abortion counseling. They can also get baby supplies. Please see the website for all services.
