211 - United Way - Duval County (Jacksonville)

United Way 211 provides information and referral for social services in your area. Trained telephone counselors are always available. They will help you find the agency or resource you need.

Ben Singleton Center - Volunteers of America

The Ben Singleton Center offers the GPD program. It provides transitional housing. It also provides supportive services. The help is for homeless veterans. The program will help stabilize and prepare a participant for a life of independence. A veteran can participate in the program for up to two years. Any program fees are based on income. Bridges International

This group provides reentry services for non-violent offenders who have substance abuse issues. The available services are made up of multiple programs. They accommodate the needs of the jailed, former inmates, and their families. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Children's Services - Hubbard House

Children who live with violence are impacted by that violence--whether they were physically abused or not. HH helps them understand that violence is not their fault. They help children know what they can do should they be in danger and help them understand and express their feelings. Domestic Violence & Human Trafficking (Lucha) Program-Americans for Immigrant Justice

Lucha is for those dealing with domestic violence and human trafficking. There is free legal help for immigrants. You can get healthcare and mental health counseling. They can help with housing, school, and jobs. They help with banking, taxes, and earning a driver's license. See the website to learn more.

Eating Disorder Groups- National Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness
