Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches provides residential care to children in need. It is for ages 8 through 18. Youth are cared for by "cottage parents" who helps them. This group runs the Daniel Statewide In-Patient Psychiatric Program. It is called SIPP for short. The program provides treatment services. These services are for children between the ages of 5 and 17. The services provided are for children exhibiting the most severe symptoms of mental and emotional distress.
