The Supported Employment program by VR helps those with disabilities to find and maintain a job. VR offers continuing help from an employment specialist to work with your strengths, abilities, and interests. The program is for both youth and adults. This program boosts job opportunities for clients at the Rescue Mission. They will learn to identify their skills, talents and abilities. Clients chart a new career path and build self esteem. The program consists of certification training and job placement. Students receive computer training, tutoring and many other services. They attend classes at the Acosta Adult Learning Center.
