Services:

Healthy Start offers screening for all Florida pregnant women and infants.

Services include:

• Childbirth, Breastfeeding and Parenting Support and Education
• Delivery
• Home Visiting
• Infant care
• Information and referral
• Ongoing care coordination and support to assure access to needed services
• Postpartum care
• Preconception Education
• Preconception planning
• Prenatal care
• Psychosocial, nutritional and smoking cessation counseling

This group offers healthy start services. It is a voluntary program. The program is for parents expecting a baby or that have a newborn. This program provides support to help pregnant women and children. It helps them access services and support needed to be as healthy as possible. Services Include:

This group offers the Critical Financial Assistance Program. The program helps military families with grants and not loans. Help is also given in the form of grocery cards. The payments are made directly to service providers. There are eligibility criteria that must be met. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Usual Types of Assistance Are:

WIC gives food and other assistance to pregnant, breast-feeding, and postpartum women. Infants and children under five years old who are at nutritional risk are also included. WIC gives vouchers that allow them to purchase a monthly food package.
