This group offers the Road to Recovery program. It provides patients transportation to and from cancer related medical appointments. Transportation is for those who don’t have a ride. This group helps seniors live in their own homes. This lets them keep living an independent lifestyle. It also helps them avoid having to live in an assisted living facility. A client must be 60 years of age or older for this program. Please call or go to the website to learn more.

This agency offers a range of services to those with cancer. Someone is available to talk to 24 hours a day. You may also chat live with someone online.

Services include:

Bus transit system for Hernando County. Riders must have correct change, or present pass or tokens. Standard fares will be $1.25. Disabled, senior or student fares are $.60. Children under age 6 ride free if accompanied by a paying rider.

Buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts and bicycle racks. No animals allowed, other than trained service animals.
