Abuse Hotline - DCF

The Florida Abuse Hotline accepts reports 24 hours a day. Anyone who suspects that a child or vulnerable adult is abused or neglected needs to make a report. You can report online, by phone or by fax.

Lucha is for those dealing with domestic violence and human trafficking. There is free legal help for immigrants. You can get healthcare and mental health counseling. They can help with housing, school, and jobs. They help with banking, taxes, and earning a driver's license. See the website to learn more.

Eating Disorder Groups- National Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness

Healthy Families Highlands

The Healthy Families Florida program is overseen by Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida. It is a nationally accredited family support and coaching program. The program is open to expectant parents. And to parents of newborns going through stressful life situations. Parents are empowered through education and community support. Tri-County Human Services, Inc. - Highlands County Outpatient Clinic

Tri-County Human Services, Inc. provides the Highlands County Outpatient Clinic. They offer adult/adolescent services.

Services provided include:

  • Alcohol/Drug Education

Each client will work with their own clinical specialist. Together they will create a treatment plan tailored to the individual.
