This agency provides shelter for abused and neglected children. They provide treatment for children who have experienced chronic trauma. Children stay at the Home for 9 to 10 months. They are between the ages of 6 and 17.
This program provides one-on-one instruction for those wanting to improve reading and writing the English language. The course will bring students up to the fifth-grade reading level. Student/tutor pairs meet at their local library. Students must be at least 18 years old.
The lifeline assistance program provides free cell phone service to low-income customers. Those who qualify also receive a free phone. There is a limit of one account per household. Other terms may apply. Visit the website to learn more.

This group offers a day program. The program is year-round. Teachers help middle and high school students with education. Counselors help with support, life skills training, and career preparation. They offer help at home, as well as at schools and within the local community. The services are tailored for each girl. This program is free. This agency provides emergency shelter for up to 125 sober, homeless adult men and women. They can stay for up to five nights free, with a cost of $10 per night thereafter. Qualifying clients, including homeless veterans, can apply to have their stay paid for.
