Interface Youth Program - CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services

This agency runs the Interface Youth Program. It offers children 10-17 short-term housing. The program also provides food, clothing, and a variety of personal support. The children are expected to attend school while in the program. If they do not then they are required to take part in a life skills program. There is no charge for the services. CARC - Advocates for Citizens with Disabilities, Inc. - Client Services

CARC – Advocates for Citizens provides Adult Day Training. The following services and activities are available to support each individual and to help them achieve their goals:

  • Adult Basic Education provided by the Columbia County School Board
  • Arts and crafts
  • Assistance with personal care activities is provided on a one-to-one basis in the individual’s own home or family home or while individual is engaged in a community activity
  • Community activities and field trips
  • Outdoor sports
  • Personal Care Assistance
  • Social activities such as parties and dances
  • Specialized training in the activities of daily living, adaptive and social skills, and self-advocacy
  • Vocational training and paid work through the manufacture and sale of various products, retail work, and lawn maintenance (examples of assistance are meal preparation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and other self care activities)
