Children's Programs - Episcopal Children's Services

ECS has programs that are based on the latest research. They show the impact of early activities on brain growth. Bright, colorful settings encourage exploration. Engaging playthings stretch young imaginations and develop motor skills. Shared stories and rhymes build language skills. Developing language skills are supported through meaningful conversation. Teachers expand on children’s ideas, and everyone explores new ideas together.

Children's Wishes - Make-A-Wish Foundation

This agency grants wishes to children. These children have life threatening illnesses. It is for children ages 2 1/2 to 17. The group works with the referred child’s doctor to determine eligibility. Please call or visit the website to learn more about referring a child.

Christian Care Center - The Pregnancy and Family Care Center

The Pregnancy and Family Care Center offers many services to pregnant women. They offer parenting classes. Through these parenting classes, you may be able to obtain a range of items for you and your baby. They operate on an earn-while-you-learn basis. Young families get points toward diapers, clothes, toys, formula and other necessities. You must complete parenting studies, Bible courses, counseling hours and/or various other means of education. Christian Care Center - The Women's Care Center

The Women’s Care Center focuses on substance abuse and emotional and spiritual issues. They can accommodate up to 16 people at a time. It offers a one-year program broken up into two pieces. The first six months involves intense counseling, Bible study, financial and other life skills help. One-on-one mentoring with women from the church and the community will also be available. The second phase involves finding work. They will learn how to apply that which has been learned so that clients can have long-term success. Call for more information.
