Laces of Love may be able to provide shoes to low-income families and disadvantaged youth. Shoes are not given directly to families, but through referrals. They will receive their shoes from a guidance counselor or adult who made the request. Please call or visit website for more information.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Center offers equipment on long-term loan with Florida residents. Residents must be hard of hearing, deaf, deaf/blind, or speech challenged. The equipment is offered at no charge to the consumer.

• Volume/Visual Phone Signalers

This group offers healthy start services. It is a voluntary program. The program is for parents expecting a baby or that have a newborn. This program provides support to help pregnant women and children. It helps them access services and support needed to be as healthy as possible. Fort Myers Christian Outreach Center provides a Food Pantry. They are open Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 19 AM to 12 PM. No one is turned away.

Good option for:

• Distance caregiver who has loved one who would benefit from receiving well balanced meals on a regular basis.
• Persons just released from hospital who cannot cook for themselves.
• People who need good nutrition but unable to cook for themselves.

Homebound individuals 60+ receiving case management services, can receive meals through this program without charge or for a nominal donation. Call for more information.
