Programs Available:
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps people pay their energy costs when they have an unpaid energy bill. The program works to help low-income families. For the first half of the month, LIHEAP gives priority to single mothers, those aged 60 or older, the disabled, and children under five years of age. All other clients are served the second half of the month. They can help every six months, once in the winter and once in the summer.
Lutheran Social Services of North Florida provides services for those in need. They give transitional and permanent housing to help homes families and disabled individuals. Call for more information.

This group offers the Critical Financial Assistance Program. The program helps military families with grants and not loans. Help is also given in the form of grocery cards. This group offers the Better Angels program. This program is for seniors 55 and older. It helps them remain active, alert, and present. The program also offers low-cost permanent housing for seniors.
