Bridges International

Brookwood, Teen Residence

This is a group home for girls ages 13 to 18. They are placed by DCF due to abusive and/or neglectful home settings. Sometimes they are placed privately by parents because of stressful home relationships. Program goals focus on independent living skills. This includes an education program, job skills, money management, and problem solving. Individual psychotherapy and group therapy are provided by licensed therapists.

Program designed to support and improve the emotional well-being of chldren. Helping them increase their social and emotional skills and development.

CATCH
A speech screening, evaluation and therapy program for preschool aged children

The CATCH program provides speech screening, evaluation and therapy for preschool age children referred by child care providers and parents.

Beginning with children ages 30 months and older the CATCH program screens for the following:
Lanuguage
Articulation
Connected Speech
Social/Interpersonal Communication Skills
Stuttering
Voice Disorders
Vision (When Appropriate)
Hearing (When Appropriate)

The post-screening evaluation process can involve:
Referral to private provider
Referral to community providers such as: Child Find or Early Steps
Referral to contracted provider for complete Speech/Language evaluation
