St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church provides the Brother's Keeper Food Pantry. This ministry offers food and other essentials for those in need within the community. They may also provide clothing and household items.

Veterans who have been partially disabled by combat may qualify for an assistance dog.

The Salvation Army provides the Women's and Children's Shelter. It is a 62 bed facility for women and their children experience homelessness. This facility provides a warm and safe environment for women and children in need of emergency shelter. Check in begins at 4:30 PM daily and continues until the facility is full.
